Portulaca grandiflora is the name of a group of richly coloured, intensely blooming sun worshippers. A one-year plant full of delicate miniature rose-like and multi-coloured flowers that open up at sunrise and close at sunset. It is drought-resistant and requires little care. It is a plant in high public esteem, some of its fans are even inclined to put out their flags when its flowering time has come!
Portulaca blooms from June until deep in October.
June and July in Fire Mix (orange and red) and Pink Mix (pale pink and deep red).
